We have numerous clients complaining about their transmission being sluggish and SOFT into 2nd and 3rd, this can be easily fixed, by installing our modified valve body and/or purchasing a hi-performance rebuilt transmission, read on.

Our professionally rebuilt, modified and tested exchange valve bodies for the Automatic Transmission in all vehicles equipped with the Jatco RE type transmission (Australian and Imported vehicles) are available with a high performance or standard rebuild and or IN KIT FORM.

The valve body in kit form is shipped for free to anywhere in Australia. This reconditioned valve body kit can be fitted quite easily, buy a slightly technical person. Full instructions are included. However, fitting may be purchased at a small extra charge. The valve bodies are sold on an exchange basis, you must send your old unit back to us.

The Kit contains:

  • Hi-Performance Valve Body, fully overhauled.
  • Pan Gasket.
  • Filter.
  • Full Instructions, including pictures.
  • Lube-Guard Transmission Protectant.

Benefits of installing a Hi-Performance valve body is as follows:

  • Greater apply pressure and holding force on the band which operates in 2nd and 4th gear.
  • Greater apply pressure and holding force on the forward clutch.
  • Greater apply pressure and holding force on the high clutch which operates in 3rd gear.
  • Increased lubrication flow.
  • Full time lubrication oil to planetaries and bushes.
  • Better shift feel all-round.
  • Up to 50% increase in all oil pressures after straightening the valve body halves.
  • Increased transmission life due to less slippage in clutches and beter oil flow for lubrication.

Our Hi-Performance overhauls include the following:

  • Modified valve body as explained above
  • Reconditioned torque converter and new lock-up plate (stall speed can be modified to up to 3000rpm at no extra charge)
